Our next sermon series will focus on the letters of the apostle Paul, one of the most influential figures in all of history. His writings not only shaped Christianity, but the entire thought of the Western world. His theological understanding of Jesus Christ has significantly influenced the Christian church perhaps more than anyone else, with the exception of Jesus Christ in history. During the next seven weeks, Pastors Martin and Mitchell will introduce the apostle Paul by attempting to answer questions such as, 'Why did the apostle write each of these letters?', 'What was his real passion in life?', and, if he were to write a letter to Hockessin United Methodist Church, what would he say to us today? If you've ever thought you have never understood the apostle Paul, then this series is designed for you. We invite you and your friends to this significant preaching series. Sunday's message, March 14, will be "Ephesians: A Model Church."
