Welcome to Hockessin United Methodist Church, located in Hockessin, Delaware. We thank you for your interest and hope you will be inspired to visit us.

As a church, our mission is to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ with our community by joyful and generous hospitality, worship services, missions activities as well as joyful and generous witnessing.

Would you, your small group, or your business be willing to donate an item to Family Promise’s Silent Auction next month?

If every congregation affiliated with Family Promise of NNCC could donate six items, we’ll have OVER 100 items to auction off at this event!

Some some ideas are: Quilters could donate a quilt

Time at your beach house

Prayer shawls or a baby blanket

Youth groups donate hours of assistance

Care givers donate hours of service

Tickets to sporting or cultural events

A catered dinner

Theme baskets are always a hit

Pick up a donation form at the Welcome Center

All items must be received by February 13th

Donations are tax deductible

Hockessin UMC Clothing is now available!

We have made arrangements with Lands' End to custom embroider the HUMC logo on shirts, cap, bags and other items. You can order them online through the custom Lands' End store we created. All items will be shipped directly to the address of your choosing.

You may pick from a variety of items, styles and colors, though at the moment only adult sizes are available.

Hockessin United Methodist 7th Annual Men's Retreat

February 3-5, 2012

Camp Pecometh Retreat Center

Hockessin United Methodist Men — Men In Ministry - will be holding its 7th Annual Men’s retreat at the retreat Center at Camp Pecometh in Centreville, MD. The cost will be $150.00, which includes two nights lodging, five meals and all study materials.

This years’ study will be based on the book "Beginnings: An Introduction to Christian Faith" by Andy Langford.
