MUSIC MINISTRY

Celebrating God’s word through music is an important and joyous part of our worship experience. Our music program is varied and offers outstanding music opportunities for participants of all ages and levels of experience.

Besides our music groups listed below, there are many other opportunities for instrumentalists and vocalists to share their musical gifts by providing special music in our worship services. Please consider adding your talents to our worship.

For more information about our music program, please contact Barbara Jones, our Director of Music Ministries.

There is joy to be shared through music!

TextJoyful Noise Choir

The Joyful Noise Choir is geared toward building

foundational music skills in singing and musicianship.

Children are encouraged to explore their voices as instruments

and learn basic music notation through playing of chimes and

other rhythm instruments.

The choir sings usually 4 times a year.  Rehearsals are held on

Thursday afternoons from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.

Serving others is an important Christian principle so the choir

usually performs at two outside functions in addition to

our church service participation.

          Heavenly Angels Choir

The Heavenly Angels Choir continues to build music skills in singing and musicianship

by learning to read music and sing in harmony.  Children are challenged with music selections and adding chimes and other rhythm instruments to the music.

At Christmas, the singers prepare a musical for the 4 pm Christmas Eve service.  Opportunities for solos and speaking parts are given and help the singer develop

poise in public speaking and singing.

The choir sings usually 6 times a year.  Rehearsals are held on Thursday afternoons

from 4:45 to 5:15 pm and on Friday nights in October.

Serving others is an Important Christian principle so the choir usually performs at

two outside functions in addition to our church service participation.
