Red Bird Mission and Clinic provides ministries in an isolated, rural distressed area in Eastern Kentucky. Hockessin UMC members provide support to this mission in several ways:

- We are in a covenant relationship with a missionary couple there - Rev. Karen and Craig Dial

- We provide funds that support the mission school and medical clinic

- We send soup labels and boxtops that are used to purchase school supplies

- We participate with our local United Methodist churches in send a work team each spring to help with home repairs.
