Sunday School - On Sundays at 9:45, concurrent with the Contemporary Service we offer multi-media, story based bible journeys for students in grades 6 through 12.

MTV (Methodist Teen Vision) - MTV is our 6th-8th grade Bible Study that meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30pm in Founders' Hall. During these Bible Studies, we have lots of fun hanging out, playing games, and learning from God's Word together.

Confirmation - Confirmation is our 7th grade program designed to prepare students for membership in Hockessin United Methodist Church. This program aims to help our students grow spiritually through Bible study and socially through youth programs and trips. Confirmation classes typically take place on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from September through May. The classes meet from 6:30-7:30pm in the church library.

The Big House (6th-12th Grade) - The Big House is a fun event that we hold on the last Friday night of every month from 7:00-9:00pm in Founders' Hall. During this event, students are given 2 full hours of FREE TIME!! We have a pool table, air hockey table, video game systems and board games available to play. We also play sports such as soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball and more when the weather is nice. During the evening, students are also given the opportunity to chow down on hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and lots of other snacks absolutely FREE!! Friends are always welcome at The Big House.

Youth Vocal Ensemble - A choir for middle school to high school students. They sing on a rotational basis at all 3 services.

Family Worship Service - Our Family Worship Service meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month beginning at 11:00am in Founders' Hall. Everyone in grades 6-12, along with his/her family, is invited to join us as we worship God and learn from His Word together. Our Youth Worship Team leads us in worship and a devotion is also shared. These services are casual and interactive so dress comfortably and come prepared to have some fun!

Appalachia Service Project - During the summer, Hockessin UMC sends teams of youth and adults to help repair and upgrade homes in Appalachia. Preparation starts in the fall with fund-raisers, Bible Study and skill development.
